About Goose Creek Farm
Goose Creek Farm is a family farm built around cattle, crops, hay, and a lot of years of doing things the practical way.
George started as a simple idea: create one system that could help watch the things that are hard to watch all the time. The winery became the first real module, but the larger goal is to bring cattle, weather, water, feeding, and other farm systems together in one place.
George is the face of that system. He does not replace the people doing the work. He helps keep track of what is happening, remembers what happened before, and makes the information easier to use.
The name George has been around in the family for years. When my brother and I were kids playing Trivial Pursuit with our cousins, if we did not know an answer, “George” became our standard joking response. It stuck. When this project needed a name and a face, George felt right.
This site is still growing. Some parts are live, some are being built, and some are ideas for later. That is part of the point. George is being built alongside the farm.
